Bradley makes it 12 out of 12

Bradley says he is ready to battle Colin Lynes for the English welterweight title after comfortably outpointing Dee Mitchell last Saturday at Wembley Arena.

The southern area welterweight champion registered a six round 60–54 points win against a much heavier opponent - extending his unbeaten record to 12 fights and setting himself up nicely for his match-up against Hornchurch-based 35-year-old Lynes for the vacant English title at The Copper Box in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on September 21.

“It was good to get six rounds in and now I’m more than ready to get back in and fight Colin Lynes,” said former Earlsfield ABC representative Bradley.

“I’m a welterweight so I made the weight easy but this was just a keep busy fight for me. Dean Powell (his matchmaker) got me Mitchell who is a light-middleweight and obviously a bit heavier than me but I was comfortable with that.

“I didn’t get caught in any silly shots so it was good a six rounder for me.”
