Bradley dominates McDonagh this time round

21. March 2013

Bradley made his first succusful defence of his Southern Area Welterweight title, beating Peter McDonagh for the second time.

Skeete puts in some big hits early in the fight, but McDonagh responded with some of his own. It was a good scrap and a competitive contest, with Bradley useing his extra height and reach to get behind the jab with some good footwork. But he also got sucked in close instead of using his jab - unable to slow down and control the pace like he is more the capable of doing.

Towards the end of the fight Bradley became more composed and connected with McDonagh's jaw with a left jab in the eights. The fight did get a bit messy with McDonagh being spoken to on a couple of occasions, before finally getting docked a point in the 9th.

The Referee gave all rounds of the fight to Bradley who will now look to face tougher opponents.
